Debbie Venn is an Associate in asb law’s commercial department and plays a central role in the firm’s highly praised Travel sector team and TeC team.

Debbie's main areas of expertise are intellectual property rights (including copyright, trademarks, patents and designs), intellectual property licensing and assignment arrangements (including royalty agreements and technology transfer arrangements), information technology (particularly software licensing, support, maintenance and hosting arrangements), e-commerce related matters (trading online, website development and protection and terms of use of websites) and outsourcing arrangements.

Debbie also advises clients on general commercial issues, including terms of business and commercial contracts, travel terms and conditions and travel regulations, agency and distribution arrangements, data protection (including data security and protection of confidential information), Freedom of Information and privacy laws.
